Homework!

Homework is a PAIN to grade! Just the sheer disorder of the students organization is at times very overwhelming. Not to mention the deciphering of handwriting! Teachers aren't the only ones who find homework at times to be a nuisance. Parents and students are often opponents to the assignment of homework. Homework is a hot topic for all involved in the education process. For over sixty years studies have been conducted in order to find if there are any beneficial aspects to it's assignment. The debate wages on not just amongst journal articles but amongst members in the educational community. I, however, have found that in order to complete a unit in a timely manner work must be assigned outside the classroom. Yes, homework is a PAIN but I feel that it is necessary in the successful implementation of the curriculum and in the achievement of students.
